A new brand and voice to help NHS Charity Head to Toe connect with its community.

Head to Toe Charity is the official charity of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation.

Partnering with word wizard Georgie Baker, we gave the charity a new look and new voice, to help them communicate their mission more clearly and connect with service users and supporters.

Finding their voice.

Head to Toe supports Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust by working to improve mental health, wellbeing and local healthcare, while celebrating and championing NHS teams.

With new strategic goals and a greater understanding of its community’s needs post-covid, the charity needed more clarity and consistency in its messaging. We worked with the charity to streamline key messaging, developing a tone of voice and phrasing toolkit that will engage and inform supporters and service users alike.

 

WArmth and Connection.

The logo, which connects from top to bottom/dot-to-dot with a ‘bounce,' is a visual metaphor for the charity’s holistic, mind-and-full-body approach to health, and its connection with the community.

The brand palette is rich and vibrant, pairing bright, playful colours with the deeper colours of the NHS brand.

On posters, social media and other communication designs the brand elements wrap around images, encapsulating the warm and vibrant approach of Head to Toe Charity.

Ownership and Accessibility.

We translated the brand across a range of assets,including: billboards, pull up banners, posters, flyers, t-shirts, social media posts, and key organisation documents.

It was important that Head to Toe could use their new brand with confidence, without having to ask for external design support. So, we created a brand toolkit in Canva and created all the required assets as Canva templates. All elements of the brand and supporting brand system were added to the Canva toolkit, and, after a training call with the Head to Toe team, they took ownership of their new brand.

The new brand couldn’t have got off to a better start! The feedback we are receiving is very positive, including from our CEO at the trust who feels it absolutely represents who we are and where we’re heading. The new look is just what we needed, it’s super fresh and vibrant and everyone seems really proud to be wearing our t-shirts. Our old logo looks so outdated now!
