BTA Website

In 2021 we created a new brand for the Birth Trauma Association, the UK’s only charity solely dedicated to supporting families who have experienced traumatic birth. In 2023 BTA asked us to design and build them a brand new website that would update their online presence and allow them to expand their fundraising efforts.

We designed the site to reflect and incorporate the brand assets, using curved lines, bright colours and hand drawn elements to ensure the website was welcoming and friendly. We created a suite of brand images that the Birth Trauma Association can use going forward.

User journeys were simplified to make key information easy to find. We also incorporated forms to ensure queries go to the correct contact at the Birth Trauma Association, and integrated Donorbox to streamline donations.

Health professionals can use the site for training and information – the can access videos and request training. Therapists are listed on the site and are easily searchable by tag and key words.

The website is built to grow with the Birth Trauma Association. We built template pages and sections so that BTA can easily update the website themselves. The organisation can list events, promote campaigns, share content directly to BTA socials and engage with users and supporters.

After launch.

Two months after the website’s launch, early feedback on supporter engagement shows that users are finding and using the website in greater numbers. There’s been a huge jump in healthcare professionals requesting training from the Birth Trauma Association (800%), as well as a 900% increase in supporters signing up for the BTA newsletter.
